Patricia began teaching early childhood music in Los Angeles in 2004 and launched Ladybug Music in 2009. After a two-decade professional career as a singer, songwriter, and producer, with original music featured in film and television, she created Ladybug Music out of her passion for both great music and great teaching.

She studied at the acclaimed Grove School of Music in Los Angeles, an intensive program founded by respected film composers and jazz musicians. That training, along with her years as a working artist, helped shape the musically rich, soulful, and eclectic foundation of Ladybug Music.

Patricia went on to build the Ladybug Music curriculum using both her own award-winning original songs and thoughtfully rearranged traditional music, creating a program that blends musicianship, child development, and joyful connection for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and their grownups.
