Ladybug Music® offers award-winning music classes for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, blending singing, rhythm play, movement, and imaginative activities.

Kids explore instruments, drums, scarves, and parachutes while developing coordination, language, and social skills.

Our playful, research-based curriculum creates a warm, pressure-free space where children learn through joy, connection, and high-quality music.

The Music

Our music is loved and recommended by the American Library Association and Parents Choice Awards!

Created by LBM founder Patricia M. Maertens, a singer-songwriter, producer, and early childhood music educator with over 20 years of experience, Ladybug Music® features original and traditional songs performed by Grammy Award-winning musicians.

The result is high-quality, multi-genre music that is adult-quality and kid-friendly, giving babies, toddlers, and preschoolers rich songs they can grow into, not out of.

Meet the Teachers

Emily Tosh

Director/Teacher

Emily is the director and teacher at Ladybug Music Ventura/Camarillo who brings warmth, artistry, and professional performance experience into the classroom. Originally from Canada, she trained in theatre and music in Canada and the UK before building a successful career performing in musicals, film, television, and recording projects in London and Los Angeles.

Emily played the role of Sophie in the original international tour of Mamma Mia! and has worked extensively as a singer, songwriter, and session vocalist. She discovered Ladybug Music while attending classes with her eldest son as a toddler and instantly fell in love with the program’s original music and engaging approach.

Now living in Camarillo with her two young sons, Emily is honored to share this joyful early childhood music experience with families in Ventura County.
