Ladybug Music® offers award-winning music classes for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, blending singing, rhythm play, movement, and imaginative activities.
Kids explore instruments, drums, scarves, and parachutes while developing coordination, language, and social skills.
Our playful, research-based curriculum creates a warm, pressure-free space where children learn through joy, connection, and high-quality music.

Created by LBM founder Patricia M. Maertens, a singer-songwriter, producer, and early childhood music educator with over 20 years of experience, Ladybug Music® features original and traditional songs performed by Grammy Award-winning musicians.
The result is high-quality, multi-genre music that is adult-quality and kid-friendly, giving babies, toddlers, and preschoolers rich songs they can grow into, not out of.

Our Studio
A welcoming space for families in Wheatridge and throughout Denver.
Our Denver-area classes are held at the Wheat Ridge Center for Music and Arts, a welcoming community arts venue in the heart of Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
This warm, creative space offers an inspiring setting for families to gather each week for joyful music, movement, and connection.
Families join us from Wheat Ridge, Denver, Lakewood, Arvada, Edgewater, and nearby neighborhoods.

Classes Offered
Ladybug Music proudly serves families in Denver and nearby neighborhoods including the Highlands, Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, and Arvada, offering joyful music classes for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers ages 0-5.
Mixed Age
(Infant - 5yrs)
A joyful, interactive musical experience where babies, toddlers, and preschoolers learn together, making it an ideal class for siblings and a natural progression as your child continues with Ladybug Music.
All classes require one adult caretaker to participate

Meet the Teachers
Amanda Crumley
Director/Teacher
Amanda has been seeking and facilitating joy and connection through music her whole life. A former Ladybug Music teacher in Los Angeles/ South Pasadena, she is ecstatic and honored to be bringing the joy of Ladybug Music to Denver Metro families!
As a professional singer and musician, she has sung in jazz clubs, choirs of all kinds, and performs her own original music as a singer-songwriter. Certified as a K-12 music teacher, she taught in the classroom for 10+ years and currently teaches private lessons to kids and adults.
She holds her Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado, and her Master of Music in Jazz Voice from the Chicago College of Performing Arts (Roosevelt University).
When she’s not doing something music-related (live music, anyone?), she enjoys the outdoors, baseball (watching), gardening, reading and spending time with her two cats.
Our classes blend singing, rhythm, movement, and instrument play to help children develop early musical skills like steady beat, listening, pitch, and musical expression, all in a warm and joyful setting.

Registration is required for all enrollments and trial classes.
Two adults are always welcome to attend with your child.

Try a class FREE for our spring session.
One free class per family
Select “Try a Class” during registration.
Trial classes are subject to availability.

Up to 2 make-ups per session, space permitting.
Make-ups do not roll over to another session.
Missed trial classes are subject to availability.

Cancellations before the session begins incur a $25 cancellation fee.
All session tuition and registration fees are non-refundable once the session has begun.

Classes require a minimum number of enrolled families to run and may be canceled due to low enrollment.

If your child is exhibiting any signs of illness, including fever, runny nose, cough, or other symptoms, please stay home for the health of your family, other families, and our teachers.
